Benefits of Telehealth Counselling

Telehealth counselling offers a flexible and accessible alternative to traditional in-person therapy by removing the need for travel and reducing logistical barriers. Unlike conventional sessions that often require individuals to take time off work or school, telehealth enables clients to engage in therapy from the comfort of their own environment—sometimes even during a lunch break. This adaptability empowers individuals to prioritise their mental health while maintaining their daily responsibilities.
 

Importantly, telehealth can also contribute to reducing the stigma associated with seeking psychological support. For some, attending therapy in person may evoke feelings of vulnerability or fear of judgment. By offering a more private and discreet mode of access, online counselling can help normalise help-seeking behaviours and foster greater openness around mental health care.
 

The convenience and comfort of telehealth may also enhance therapeutic engagement. When clients feel at ease in their chosen setting, they may be more inclined to speak freely, deepening the therapeutic alliance and maximising the benefits of the counselling process.

I can provide a range of flexible days and times to suit your needs, this includes evenings and weekends. 

What I will need from you before we begin?

Once you book an appointment, I will email you:
1) Consent form: this will cover privacy & confidentiality. I will need this signed and sent back to me before our first session.
2) Client Information form: this is for our client records that has your contact details, emergency contacts & some screening questions. I will need this filled out and send back to me before our first session. 

How Does Payment Work?

Payment is within 24 hours of your session. A Stripe invoice will be emailed to you with a payment link after your session.  All major credit cards are accepted. I also accept ApplePay.
